William Hudson was a significant figure in the history of the soap industry in the 19th and early 20th centuries. He was a British entrepreneur, best known for his role in the soap-making industry. He built a house called Bidston Court which has fascinating connections to Crown Prince Wilhelm II (WW1), The signing of a peace agreement (WW2) and the fact it literally moved location.
