Incredible true story of death and survival in the Wallasey during the WW2 Blitz.
Wallasey, on the Wirral Peninsula, suffered frequent bombing raids during WWII as part of the wider assault on Merseyside by the Luftwaffe. Between 1940 and 1941 there were many air-raids, with water, gas and electric services disrupted and communal shelters and streets frequently hit.
On the night of 12–13 March 1941 a bombing raid caused widespread destruction, but out of the casualties there is a miraculous story of survival.
